January 2019 saw the launch of Michael Portillo’s new BBC ‘Great Railways’ series which saw him explore Alaska and Canada by train. This 16-day tour captures elements of the journey he takes in the Great Canadian Railway Journeys series. It takes you from the Atlantic port of Halifax, Nova Scotia to vibrant Vancouver in British Columbia.

A family of three were visiting the UK from overseas and wanted a specific tour created that enabled them to see the sights of London and take a journey, via Oxford, through the Cotswolds to Bath. They wanted to capture a sense of Britain’s history so we even managed to include an overnight stay at magnificent Warwick Castle!

A Great Continental Railway Journey that pays homage to the First World War by visiting some of the key locations and the railways that played an important role during WW1. The second series of BBC's Great Continental Rail Journeys programmes began with Michael Portillo embracing the beauty of Spain by travelling by from Madrid to Gibraltar train with stops in Cordoba, Seville, Jerez de la Frontera and Ronda en route. You have the option of travelling to Madrid by plane or train!
