Ride The Snowdonian: A Railway Weekend in Eryri
Railway enthusiasts can enjoy a very special weekend in North Wales when The Snowdonian train makes its annual 80-mile journey through Eryri (Snowdonia) on 24 April 2027. Ffestiniog Travel's three-day break, 23–25 April, offers the rare chance to experience the full length of both the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways in a single day, travelling from Porthmadog to Caernarfon, Blaenau Ffestiniog and back through some of Wales' most spectacular mountain scenery. A variety of locomotive power is planned, while breakfast, buffet lunch, tea and cake are served during the journey. The weekend also includes a guided tour of Boston Lodge, a talk on the Slate Landscape of North Wales World Heritage Site and a souvenir. The price from £499pp includes two nights' B&B accommodation and The Snowdonian – a superb railway experience on home territory.
