Pacific Surfliner San Diego

California Adventure + California Zephyr to Chicago
An American adventure that includes planes, trains and automobiles! Fly into San Diego for a few days
sightseeing before taking Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner to Los Angeles to experience some Hollywood
magic. A hire car will enable you to tour this part of California before jumping onboard Amtrak’s
Coast Starlight to Sacramento to maybe enjoy a Riverboat cruise and ride nearby railroads. Next
stop Chicago on the California Zephyr, a journey described as one of the most beautiful rail routes in
North America that winds its way through the Rockies across the snow-capped Sierra Nevadas and
the plains of Nebraska.
